Sing Out Loud Festival

The Sing Out Loud Festival is an annual celebration of music featuring FREE concerts by local, regional and national acts!

The 2019 event will run from September 6th through September 29th and feature more than 330 acts and venues throughout town including The Amp and Colonial Oak Music Park. Follow them to keep up to date on this year's lineup, participating venues and more.

First Friday Artwalk

September 6, 2019 at 5 to 9 p.m.

On the first Friday of every month, St. Augustine’s art galleries welcome visitors to browse the latest art exhibits and enjoy refreshments and live entertainment at more than 25 participating galleries.

Many of the Galleries introduce their featured artist for the month and they are often on hand to answer questions about their work. Artwalk takes place throughout St. Augustine's historic downtown area, uptown and - even over the Bridge of Lions onto Anastasia Island and the beach.

Be sure to stop by and visit STA Marketplace favorites including, P.a.St.A Gallery featuring Martin Story Designs, High Tide Gallery Art and Gifts as well as W.B. Tatter Studio Gallery.

Shop local produce, find locally made and handcrafted products and gifts, and sample St. Augustine’s cuisine at the Saturday Farmers Market. Guided Exploration Hike

September 7, 2019 at 9 to 11 a.m.

GTM Research Reserve Trailhead Pavilion - West of Guana Dam

500 Guana River Road, St. Augustine, FL 32082

During a guided hike on the first Saturday of every month at GTM Research Reserve, visitors can learn about the cultural history of the Guana Peninsula, as well as the natural biodiversity of the reserve. Hear about the peninsula’s 5,000 years of human history, including how native peoples used estuarine resources, what European plantation life was like, and current efforts to learn about and save these resources. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable closed-toe shoes. The event is free, but there is a $3 per vehicle parking fee.

Pineapple Palette Knife Painting Class

Join Darla Donley Art for a palette knife painting class at St. Augustine’s Hobby Lobby. Beginners are welcome. Painting with knives is a bit more abstract but adds a lot of texture to the painting.
