Hispanic Culture Film Festival

The Hispanic Culture Film Festival enables movie lovers to live an "experience" during several days in St. Augustine combining, culture, dining, beaches, parties with the best Spanish movies specially selected for the 7th Art lovers.

First Friday Artwalk

St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach

On the first Friday of every month, St. Augustine’s art galleries welcome visitors to browse the latest art exhibits and enjoy refreshments and live entertainment at more than 25 participating galleries.

Many of the Galleries introduce their featured artist for the month and they are often on hand to answer questions about their work. Artwalk takes place throughout St. Augustine's historic downtown area, uptown and - even over the Bridge of Lions onto Anastasia Island and the beach.

Be sure to stop by and visit STA Marketplace favorites including, P.a.St.A Gallery featuring Martin Story Designs, High Tide Gallery Art and Gifts as well as W.B. Tatter Studio Gallery.

CBD Supply House Grand Opening

Pink up the Pace

This Saturday, put on your pink shirts, tutus and tiaras in support of breast cancer awareness! The mission of Pink up the Pace is to have a positive impact on the lives of those affected by breast cancer in St. Augustine and the surrounding areas. Through their annual 5K walk/run, Pink up the Pace raises money to assist the uninsured and underinsured in the early detection of breast cancer and increase public awareness of the importance of early detection.

GTM’s October Guided Exploration Hike

GTM Research Reserve Trailhead Pavilion - West of Guana Dam

During a guided hike on the first Saturday of every month at GTM Research Reserve, visitors can learn about the cultural history of the Guana Peninsula, as well as the natural biodiversity of the reserve. Hear about the peninsula’s 5,000 years of human history, including how native peoples used estuarine resources, what European plantation life was like, and current efforts to learn about and save these resources. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable closed-toe shoes. The event is free, but there is a $3 per vehicle parking fee.

Datil Pepper Fall Festival

Head to the St. Johns County Agricultural Center for the 12th annual Datil Pepper Fall Festival.

Vendors will be present offering a wide variety of datil products and other unique goods, while our SJC Master Gardeners will have their plants for sale as part of their fundraising activities. Yes, datil pepper plants included! The festival will also feature Restaurant Cook-Off as well as an Amateur and Professional Hot Sauce Competition.
