Hopefull Handbags, Inc. serves as a “BRIDGE” organization for survivors as they restructure their lives in a safe, productive and positive direction. The global non-profit was founded by Cathlene Miner in St. Augustine and has been helping women since 2017.

Through donations of once-loved, beautiful handbags, filled with personal necessities to make women feel amazing, Hopefull Handbags strives to provide inspiration and hope for women as they restructure their lives and get back on their feet. Building self-esteem can begin with just ONE HANDBAG at a time! The handbags are the FIRST STEP toward opening conversations about hope, change, empowerment, and healing from the “inside out”! 

Hopefull Handbags’ main objective is to provide tools, services, information, education and HOPE to empower survivors to make positive and safe choices leading toward sustainable healthy lives.

All donations stay in the community where the items are received. Hopefull Handbags works directly with local women’s shelters to ensure donation recipients are those who need items most.

Find Hopefull Handbags the third Saturday of every month the Airstream Row Market on Vilano Beach. The nonprofit organization also partners with local businesses as donation drop-off locations.
